What we collect
You can use Who Is Calling Me without an account. When you submit a report or contact message we store the content you provide (your comment, optional display name, optional company name). We do not store your IP address: a one-way salted hash of it is kept solely for spam prevention and rate limiting, and cannot be reversed into your address.
Phone number data
Number metadata shown on this site (service type, network allocation, region, allocation status and rights-of-use holders) is sourced from the Australian Communications and Media Authority's public numbering register. We do not hold or publish telephone directory listings or subscriber identity records. Community reports are user-generated content and are filtered to remove email addresses and phone numbers other than the number being discussed.
Cookies and advertising
This site shows advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to personalise ads and measure performance; you can control ad personalisation in your Google settings. Where consent is required by law (for example for visitors from the EEA or UK), a consent message is shown before personalised ads are served. We use privacy-preserving analytics that do not track you across sites.
Removal requests
If a report contains your personal information or you believe it is unlawful, use the content removal process. We review all requests, normally within 2 business days.
